Educare Therapy is a pediatric learning center offering speech therapy, occupational therapy, learning programs, and preschool groups. Our clinic is therapist-owned and operated. We serve children birth-18 years of age. We will design an individual plan of care for your child to help him or her succeed!

Heather Simpson, M.S. CCC-SLP is the owner and director of Educare Therapy, LLC. Heather is originally from Oklahoma, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Oklahoma State University. Upon graduation she moved to Texas where she began her career in the public school system teaching students with Autism and Behavioral Disorders. She went on to attend Texas Woman’s University to earn a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology while continuing her career in the public school system.
Heather is a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of Texas and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Heather has experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities in both the public school and clinical settings. Her clinical specialties include working with children with Autism, Behavioral Disorders, Apraxia of Speech, Preschool Speech/Language Disorders, and the effects that Speech/Language Disorders have on literacy and academic skills.
Sophie Kriss, MOT, OTR/L received her undergraduate degree at Sam Houston State University and her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. After graduation, Sophie moved to Ft. Worth to begin her career as a pediatric occupational therapist.
Sophie is a licensed occupational therapist in the state of Texas. Sophie has experience working with the pediatric population in home and clinical settings. Sophie’s clinical specialties include working with children with ADD/ADHD, Autism, PDD-NOS, Down-Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorder, Feeding/Eating delays, and many other delays in motor development. Faira Adolphs, M.A. CCC-SLP obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University and a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Texas. She began her career working in the public school system assisting children having a wide range of disabilities.
Faira is a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of Texas and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Faira has experience working with the pediatric population in the home, clinical and school settings. Faira’s clinical specialties include working with children having Autsim, Speech and Language Delays/Disorders, Phonological Processing Delays/Disorders, Intellectual Disabilities, Hearing Impairment, Apraxia of Speech, Oral Aversion, and Dysphagia.
Julie is the office coordinator and front desk receptionist for Educare Therapy. She is always here to greet clients with a smile as they arrive and is available to help with any scheduling or insurance needs.
